I hope everyone enjoyed Easter and the brief holiday! For me, this year it was emotional because there are only a few months left of my last year of highschool, so half of it I had to prepare for the final exams, and the other half I spent with my family, eating the best sweets brought from London, going to bowling, reading the American Vogue "Kimye issue" (yes, I love them as a couple and how Kim's style is completely different from her old days) and the British Vogue issue, which features a great editorial styled by Kate Moss.

I am so happy my cousins came back in time from their Liverpool-London trip to celebrate Easter, because I can't imagine this amazing holiday without them. As always, they brought me incredible souvenirs, my favourite one being this "C'est la vie" Next jersey. I'm a huge fan of this sweatshirt trend, but I couldn't find one to sum up all my needs: a thick fabric, a cool print, a color which would flatter me. Well, my aunt did! And I was over the moon, especially because the A is the Tour Eiffel (and I'm sure you can remember how much I adore it). Something from London which also reminds me of Paris? The perfect combination!

I can't believe how long I've been holding back from posting these photos! The only reason is that I was hoping not to post these at all because it was a rainy day of spring when I took this and I am STILL waiting for the warm ones but guess what...it's going to snow this weekend! SNOW!  Just when I was just writing my manifesto/farewell to winter...

Oh well, there's another thing which I have been planning to blog about for a long time. It has been over debated , and yet I feel the need to write my thoughts on this as well:

How come fashion bloggers only highlight the great parts and stories in their life and are more discreet and reserved when it comes to a personal crisis or deception?

First of all, lets remind ourselves that there are a lot of successful fashion bloggers who only write about the outfit they're wearing or simply state the labels. I'm just not that type. I tried to focus only on the fashion aspect for a while, but I feel like there are so many other things you should learn from this blog!
Now, about the main question: Many people say that we usually just want to build a perfect life, and therefore our disappointments are never a subject of discussion, but I would argue that there's more to the story. When you visit the sites you love and you happen to be in an amazing mood, wouldn't you be  a little sad and sympathetic to the issues exposed?  Or when you are sad and see a weeping post wouldn't that discourage you even more? Shouldn't you, as a reader, relax and enjoy the content of a blog in your free time?

Than, there comes another sensitive issue: friends and family usually read your blog and however sad and angry you might be, you shouldn't hurt them by writing an acid post. If you stilll feel like letting it all out, you should write about your concerns in an ambiguous style, maybe include a meaningful quote so that only the person in question can tell.

This is what I feel about blogging when you are angry or extremely dissapointed. It's your blog and you're allowed to express yourself however you feel like. Still, a little diplomacy wouldn't hurt. Who knows, maybe even a post about blogging when you're in a weird mood means that the writer herself is actually hurt and mad *wink wink*.

And now, finally a few words about my outfit: I bought this aviator jacket couple years ago, when it was a huge trend and although I love it, I don't wear it so much because its lenght is impractical.  As for the mint scarf, I know I should look for emerald green and neon yellow in the stores already and that mint is not the IT color anymore, but I love it and that's what really matters! This whole color trend concept means that for a few months you have more options to choose from in a certain shade. It doesn't imply you can't wear that color anymore once a new season settles in!

I'm so HAPPY tha I'm actually able to write on the blog right now! It's been a rough week and the next two ones will be even harder as I have my exams and everything. Fortunately, we don't have school tomorrow so it will be a long weekend and well deserved break for me!!!

As I said before, I was so anxious to write this post because I have missed you guys so much(I hope you can appreciate the fact that even I was busy I managed to reply to everyone's mails) and also because I finally get to show you my burgundy sweater, such a great essential and trend for this fall! Oh, have I mentioned it also has sequins all over it? This is what made me buy it actually, I always had a thing for fabulous & shiny clothes!

Now , I know there are less pictures, but this is only because I was in a rush and I found a great spot regarding the light. Needless to say, 5 minutes after I finished posing that fabulous light vanished!! Also, starting now , the photos of my details will have TeenFashionDiary's logo on the left/right because I have found many photos with over 1000 notes on Tumblr which belong to me , yet I wasn't credited. Even though I mailed everyone who posted them, I only got two replies and I was so dissapointed! You can see the photos I was talking about at my Tumblr: marylueden.

Anyways, how cool is the matching burgundy necklace from Accessorize? I got it two years ago, on sale and I paid like 4 euros, when bordeaux wasn't a cool shade and statement necklaces weren't so popular. Now I congratulate the old me as the investment(if you can call spending 4 euros that haha) was a total success!!

Have a wonderful day, my dear readers, and don't forget that even if I'm not able to post so often I always think about you!

Wait, I forgot to talk about one more thing, the hairstyle, which you can properly see after the break. I believe every girl should find an easy-peasy and yet outstanding way to do her hair when she's on the run. Mine takes 5 minutes and it's super comfortable to wear(and yes, it is my actual hair!)! Let me know what you think, as I got some requests on doing vlogs about hair and beauty.

Stressed but well dressed - this is how I would describe myself lately, I mean I least I try with the 'well dressed' part haha but I feel like there's not enough time, or maybe I have no idea how to manage mine! Therefore, a trick is in order for girls like me, who are always in a rush and still want to look fabulous:

Invest in a key piece for fall, incredible, unique yet still easy to wear on a regular basis!

I found mine at Zara, two weeks ago, and I couldn't be more happy! I'm talking about this white loose sweater, with the most amazing fabric, cut and easy to match with all my jewellery! I almost wear it too much, but you'll see after you click for 'MORE' why, it has a fancy detail in the back. Also, I'm sure you noticed the background- the same old background which I call the 'emergency' one as I have too many pictures taken here plus it's not cute as well...Oh well, forgive me, I had to show you this sweater somehow!

As for the song I chose it's because I went with my cousin and some friends and saw Skyfall, the new James Bong movie. I'm sure you've heard of it, it is an action movie with a huge budget and amazing actors after all but the thing that impressed me most was the subject! Overall, I got the following idea:

You shouldn't give up on yourself, on your hopes and dreams and that there's always a place for a new beginning or, as Adele would sing it 'Skyfall is where we start'.

21th of October is always a big deal for me! How so? Well, my parents got married on this very day (it's their 21th year of marriage actually, congratulations mom&dad!) and it's also the birthday of an important person for me: my aunt.

I get really emotional, I mean my aunt is the most kind and loving woman, she is always there to support me and encourage me to pursuit my dreams, I love her so so so much!!! She is also a role model for me because she is an incredible doctor (I hope to be just like her one day!) and she has an incredible fashion sense, I mean a big part of my wardrobe is chosen by her because she travels abroad and always surprises me with amazing clothes!

I thought writing about it wouldn't b enough and as a picture is worth a thousand of words I wanted to show you and her my consideration and love. Happy Birthday, auntie, I love you!

Also, you'll see in the next pictures what top I'm wearing: a sparkling one (hence the title) which was a gift she brought me from Prague. I love the details and the fact that it's a see through blouse so much! The weather is terrible already so I wear a lot of black because most of my pants and coats are black but now I find myself very fond of mixing it with nude or beige tones, like you can see in this outfit but also the previous one. I went again for the loose pants, so comfy!

Have a great Sunday and don't forget to show your appreciation  to the people you love!

CLASH OF PRINTS & BEST FRIENDS GOING WILD. Two weeks ago I went with my best friend S. to pick up my Cambridge CAE certificate and attend the Ab Fab Fair! It was a memorable day, full of laughther, shopping and delicious food (I can't resist Starbucks and McDonalds , sorry). I was really impressed with the Fair, it was the first time I attended and both me and S. found some really beautiful and unique things. The dress code really got me, I love clashing prints so I went for a florals&python mix.

If you are a faithful reader you must have noticed my obsession with pastels. Well, with this AMAZING cardigan with sparkles all over it I am starting : pastels-the fall edition haha. Seriously, its color is pink champagne and with all the glitter I couldn't help myself! Of course I will be wearing darker tones (hint: don't miss the next post) but my style is so feminine and classy that this seemed the right outfit for the occasion.

Ah, I can't believe the weekend has gone by so quickly, school is rough right now!
My advice for you  is :make time for your friends ,dress fabulously and have tons of fun! Have an amazing week, my dear readers x
