My room- or my most important part of it- the work space. You've asked me to do a video tour of my room for years now, it will come someday, but in the mean time I thought I'd share some photos with the most loved corner in my room. The idea came to me this Sunday, when I wanted to show you my new green dress from Persunmall. Of course, there were 0 Celsius degrees, so we weren't able to shoot outside. I was all grumpy and sad in my chair when I thought: "how about taking the pictures inside?".

Now, a little something you should know about my room:

It's small, too small for two girls to share, and I am sharing it with my little sister (let's hope she won't get mad at me for this post, she always yells at me "it's OUR room" )

I designed it together with my dad when I was 13 and I had to make two major compromises: First, I wanted the furniture to be in one color, that light cream but the brand we chose didn't have enough wood in stock. If I would have waited three more months, it would have been possible but it was summer back when I redecorated and I was in a desperate need of change. Threfore, we settled for the orange combination because I really liked the way they worked together, but now that I'm in my teenage years I'm kind of tired of it. And I say "kind of" because I realized next year I will be in an ugly , boring dorm room and this room will be like heaven compared to it. (I'm taking my LOVE letters with me in college, they can make any room prettier, right?). Secondly, because my room is so small and I wanted such a big desk and we also needed to design a desk and bookcase for my little sister we had to sacrifice the curtains because they would have taken 25 cm in width. You can see the result, I look like I'm sitting in an actual office!

I didn't have any frames on my desk until last week when I found this cute little shop and I just had to buy these two! I came home excited to frame my photos just to discover..I haven't printed a photo of myself in three years haha (maybe I should start saving up for a Polaroid, I've always wanted one).

I use my statement necklaces as room decor, I think it has a pretty neat impact and I always have a hard time deciding which Vogue issues deserve to stay on the desk (I have some stacked in another corner).

So, what do you think about my room?

This post's song sums up what I should do right now : wake up , because I've been enjoying and indulging myself too much lately, forgetting that I need to blog and pay more attention to a major thing I've started today.

It's just that it's all so wonderful, dolce far niente, that's what I love most about summer and I can't believe this is my last holiday before university!  Take these pictures for example: one month ago I was struggling to find a little time to shoot for my blog dressed in different outfits and now I have had them in my computer for more than a week. I've always dreamed of a maxi dress with a genius graphic print on it, it's just that whenever I found one, I didn't like the cut or how the tones matched my skin. Imagine my surprise when I found the perfect number at ZLZ, an online clothing retailer. And I say 'surprise' not because of the brand (mind you, they have an amazing selection, I could shop on their site for days), but for the fact that a couple of years ago, I would have never imagined I will find my objects of desire on a different continent and have them delivered to my house in such a short amount of time. I love the fact that the tan/nude shade I love so much is like a canvas, and the triagles frenzy begins from there and how easily you can match this dress to many colors.

I can't help myself but laugh as I am looking at these pictures. They show a very happy version of me, back on the 1st of December when the weather was incredible, I only grabbed a jacket and I was off to see Cloud Atlas which is definetely the best movie I've seen in 2012 (I still love Skyfall, don't worry, I wouldn't have named an outfit post after it otherwise!).

For some reason, that day felt like spring and I had so much fun with some of my friends and I had a positive thinking and I was like 'I bet it's only going to snow in February'. That's why I decided to wear my crop top (ha!) and the neon necklace I never got to wear last summer (ha ha ha).

Of course, the weather changed just as quick as my mood and now I am constantly covered in snow and exams. That's why I had to take such a long break from the blog, it is no secret that my studies are on the first place right now and I have to keep it toghether as I have decided to go for medicine (every Sunday in this semester has been about anatomy). It only felt like Christmas is approaching this weekend , when all my close friends started to give my hints about gifts and. I allowed myself to take a little break and let my creativity ( & savings) flow. It felt so good, and I am so happy to be back!

Also, I hope you entered the giveaway!

Why , hello there! Shocked to see me posting so soon? I was going through my old posts yesterday (I  know, I can be a little nostalgic at times- yet it's so great to have an online archieve of all my trips!) and I noticed that ever since I saw the mint colour in the trend report I have been obsessing over it!  It all started from this post, then it was followed by this and this. Oh, but what about that one?

Well, my mint madness is still lasting and now I am the proud and happy owner of a mint dress!! I know you what you might be thinking: 'this girl does even know the shades? This is light blue!' but I can assure you it's actually mint. The thing is that when I shot the photos it was a really sunny day so that's why you can't see the colour properly. I promise to show you another ensemble with it though, in the near future.

I chose to wear it with my  mint (oh! what a surprise haha) owl necklace which is super cute. This owl has some incredible orange eyes, so I thought mixing this whole pastel look with some colorblocking accents like the bracelets, wallet and the belt. The flats don't match, I know, but I couldn't find my lavender toned ones so..you can't always wear a pefect outfit!

And...I finally found the sunglasses I have always been dreaming of!!! They are from H&M, vintage shaped and with leopard print.

Beware! I'm on 'Chatty Cathy' mode today

For those who don't live in Romania or simply don't watch the news there has hapened some major changes in my most favorite city in the world- IaÅŸi . A new complex called 'Palas' has just opened few days ago and this implied some incredible events which I also attended. It's not just the huuuge mall I love (with the most incredible Zara store-seriously, it beats the one from Prague) but also the gardens which are in front of the Palace of Culture and the lake. I had to take pictures, it's just a complete madness, it looks like a whole different city!

Back to the events I attended there was one which has a certain impact on me: Saturday night we tried to achieve a Guiness record by lighting the most sky-lanterns in the world! Needless to say, we made it and it felt just amazing knowing that one of the 12740 fairy lights was mine (there's a picture after the break).  Also, I ate for the first time at Subway. I know, silly me, I felt like a tourist when I took a picture in front of the restaurant but it was something I have been craving for ever since last August when I was in Budapest and we didn't have time to stop at one and grab a sandwich. This experience kind of reminded me of a post I saw on 9gag a while ago because when I was being asked about the ingredients I kept saying random things. The result was delicious , though.

Now, about the outfit of the day: I bought this  dress from Zara at the last sales, when I also bought this versatile wallet and my most loved belt. Also, the leopard flats are the most comfortable in the world!
Against a monster proceeds an intentional unfortunate.
