I have always loved J.D Salinger's work so when I found this book last week I felt extremely happy. Even though he didn't write many things during his entire life, all his books are incredible and must be read in a lifetime. 'Franny&Zooey' is no expection. Once you look deeper you will realise that not the religious theme is the most moving, but the technique used to describe the feeling of being lost and how important a brother can be in your life.

Also, how sweet is this floral jacket I got from Zara two years ago? It has the most sublime texture and colors, I thought matching it with my oh-so-loved mint pants would be great!

Have a great week everybody, mine started horrible already ( this post was somehow deleted and I had to re-write it) plus I have many exams!

♪Empire of the Sun- Walking On a Dream ♪

I am going to reveal something. As you know, I am a highschool student and these weeks are crucial for me, with all my final exams, tests and projects to do. Still, I am proud to say I have developed a strategy, so I can still be happy and do what I like although I am super busy. Okay, I'll admit it, it meant taking hours from my sleep so far, but I'm sure I'll manage somehow!

Seriously, I have read more books and watched more movies than I usually do when I'm on holiday! I also make time to go out with my friends! These photos were taken on Tuesday (&me posting them so soon -that's a first- ha!) when I had a blast with some of my mates.

I wore something really comfortable and YES, that's once again the skirt on my life, sorry for featuring it here so many times, I'm just obsessed! I also added some accents which are 'in' for this season, like the mint & floral-paterned bangles and the nude wedges.

I have so many things to talk about in this post that I don't even know where to start from. Okay, I decided! I know it's a common fact but never ever try to take pictures when the sun is at its brightest! I thought that I could trick the light, but I ended up having these creepy shadows and posing in different corners of the street.

Also, you may find it funny that my only accessory is the latest issue of Vogue UK, but my aunt brought it from Prague and I've been practically glued to it ever since. You have to read the interview of Karlie  Kloss, who knew she's only 19 and such an enchanting person?

You may have noticed that the pajama pants are such a hit at the moment. I find this trend challenging, because you have to be really confident when you walk in this kind of outfits. I adapted this so it would match my style, by using an amazing Zara shirt I bought two years ago.

What do you say:  Does the outfit even gives you the idea of this trend?

♪Scissor Sisters- I Don't Feel Like Dancin' ♪

In the last outfit post (MINT me!) I was talking about how versatile this plush sweatshirt from Zara can be. If I there I was sporting quite a casual and colorful outfit, here it is the central piece of a feminine ensemble, with all kinds of nude tones. I love being girlie, even preppy sometimes so this look defines me as well.

And well, once again that skirt you know very well haha. I just can't help myself, it's just the most comfortable and adorable piece and I feel just fabulous wearing it. Also, I'm in love with this fabulous bag I received from my aunt, uncle and cousins as an Easter present. It's from Accessorize and the color scheme and details are marvellous!

Now , the storyline of the photos: I always seem to find the worst moment to take pictures of my look. This time, I was heading with my family to a fancy restaurant and, while everyone was getting ready, there I was, on the stairs, asking literally each one to take one snapshot. That's why they came out all so blurry and from dfferent angles: I had many many photographers, for sure!

Hair style is the final tip-off whether or not a woman really knows herself. ~Hubert de Givenchy, Vogue, July 1985

I took this picture couple days ago and I sighed dramatically as always. I usually complain of how my hair is so straight and still and just when I needed it to stay in it's natural shape it magically converted into this pseudo wavy-in-the-end hairdo.

I love my hair, it's quite long and I would never dye it, but it seems it doesn't love me back!! Of course, there are tons of hair products but as I am in a rush I just tend to leave it in its 'unique' manner. Don't get me wrong, I love to have a feminine, even preppy look so I decided it is time for a change.

Remember one of my posts about the genius brand ghd? Well, after some further research (this meaning an interesting talk with some new friends) I found out that they have the best ceramic flat iron , that does a fantastic job no matter what kind of hair you have. It sounds tempting, especially regarding the fact they deliver worldwide. Also, it wouldn't harm my hair because using the straightener twice a week is enough as the key of their products is effectiveness.

Top brand, with Katty Perry as ambassador, good prices and actually a result? On the whole, I'm chamed!!

Any hair product/ straightener are you lusting over right now?

Oh, sorry for my long absence, I have been travelling for 7 days and I am finally home. Had a tough but also amazing experience , visited my beloved cousins and..had a shopping session at Zara of course!!

I have to say that I am OBSESSED with mint and, although I own an adorable shirt and a charming owl,  I just set my heart on these fabulous pants when I saw them! They even have golden zippers!

Now, there's the nude wedges. I have been searching for the right ones for 2 years now, I found them at Zara  too. The plush sweatshirt is just..I am speechless, I never thought I could find something with such a perfect fabric, which can be sporty, casual and feminine at the same time!

I was telling you in December how obsessed I am with the glitter trend. Well,  time has passed, the trend is gone and I finally managed to own one sparkling and flawless sweater haha( I know, I'm like 3 months late). I consider it another fortunate happening as I actually won it after I entered the MOJA Giveaway. The fabric is sublime and the design is just impressive, it even has shoulder pads!

Another thing that I have started to love lately is the Elle Magazine. You know me, I'm a huge fan of Vogue Paris, but I find Elle UK so different and refreshing. I love how I find out in every publication about interesting people who are usually private and a rare presence in the eyes of the media, yet do some immense work for the fashion world. Not to mention the witty editorials and the great book recommendations!

Click for more glitters&sparkles and wish me luck(I'm going away for 5 days and I have mixed feelings about it)!

Oasap Paris Sweater, Zara Skirt, Musette Belt, Accessorize cat-eye sunglasses

If you are a regular reader you must know the way I styled this Oasap sweater for the first time: urban chic,  with some edgy accents. Well, I decided to go for a boho outfit this time, in nude tones. I felt amazing while wearing this ensemble, a little like a modern fairy. It's simple, yet with some fine accents like the fabulous belt which is my favorite.

Also, I am going through a little chrisis as I can't find anyone to take my pictures. These ones were taken with self-timer so believe me it's a first time on my blog when I'm dealing with the lack of photos, but I liked the outfit too much so I had to post it! I guess I am going to ask you to consider one point: sometimes quality over quantity is the best.

Also , credits for the words of wisdom in the title go to the one and only Anna Dello Russo.
Wish you all a great week, stay fashionable!

Give Me all Your Luvin' -Madonna

I can't remember to have ever stated that I love tote bags around here, but as a matter of fact I do!! They're great for school (who needs a backback? ), they have all these crazy patterns and a perfect size! I'm talking about those from Accessorize, I'm obsessed!

My aunt bought me two in the winter sales and I can't manage without them. The owl one has a marvelous shade of grey and cute pink accents.  The other one is super cool as well, British flag and everything.

As for the song choice, yes, that's right, I love Madonna! Ever since I was 5 actually. Can't help it, she's the queen of pop and this new song is super fun and full of life.

My dear readers, a lot of things have changed, my preferences included. Even though I have always stated that my bigest dream was to visit London, I found myself more atracted to Paris lately.
And what a greak way to mark this time of my life in my fashion diary other than a knit statement? The amazing team from OASAP  sent me this genius & super comfy sweater. I've gotten tons of compliments for it, and as you can't wear a necklace with it I decided to go for Marc Jacobs bracelet.

I do love the outfit, don't get me wrong, it's the decor I hate. My amazing photographer and also one of my best friends, Diana, struggled to get better angles of my hometown but it's pretty much impossible. After all the arhitecture on my city is like "there you have it lady and gents, communist blocks on the right, oh and on the left as well!"

Have a look at the photos though, my poses and the quality of the photos should distract you from the horrible landscape!

Hello dear readers, wow, such a long absence! I know, but I've had the two most hectic weeks, with tons of sleepless nights and courses to study. However, there have been some good changes. Beware, there will be  a lot of writing in this post because I have missed you and my little blog a lot!

Someday between a test and two essays to write, I was instantly cheered up when the lovely team from 33knots sent me these two  simply perfect , handmade and authentic bracelets.

You may wonder what is it so special about this brand and the design of the bracelets. Well, I shall try to tell you some little secrets:
